Andrea Tosetto studied at the Art High School and at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice. At the age of 18, he joined the company founded by his father Angelo in 1950, which he soon took over. Andrea marks the transition of the company from the classical lines of that time to an innovative and more contemporary language. His dynamic entrepreneurial style and lively creative vein come to life in refined products that enhance the craftsmanship method. Andrea succeeded in emphasising the company's know - how, focusing on the internalisation of production processes and on the us e of quality materials with a strong bond with the Venetian territory. Kelly, Nautilus, Valentina, Sugegasa, Thor are just some of Andrea's creations for Studio Italia Design.
Chia-Ying Lee was born in Taiwan and became a designer in industrial design and new media after studying in computer science and music. She graduated from Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in 2006. After working for PEGA Design & Engineering for 3 years, she set up her studio (studio if) in December 2011. Her work is usually a blending of design, art and technology embodied in physical forms, from products to installations. She has worked with large institutes such as National Taiwan Art Museum and JUT Foundation for Arts and Architecture. The studio also runs small production of her works for stores and galleries in Europe, Taipei and Beijing. Her previous projects has won a few awards including IF China Product Design Award, Taiwan Excellence Award and SDA Best Design of The Year. She was selected as one of the IFFS Asian Star Talents in 2015.
Dima Loginoff was born in Moscow in 1977. In 1997 he graduated from College of Hairdresser's Art in Moscow and for over 10 years has worked as a stylist. Meanwhile, in 2008 he graduated with distinction at the "International Design School" in Moscow and in the "Interior Design School" Rhodec London (UK). He received several awards including “Grand Prix Award in 2007”, Young Designer of the Year - 2010 by Elle Magazine, Dima Loginoff among the "Twelve gold" from the Russian magazine "Interio + Design", Publications in many magazines around the world, and also awards from the fashion agencies (eg. Agenda Inc., Paris and New York). In autumn 2009 Dima, along with other famous Russian designers, he took part at the charity event "STARS DRAW", whose collections have allowed the purchase of tools to develop creative abilities of children in orphanages. Today Dima Loginoff, parallel to the creation of new projects, teaches specialized courses and holds seminars.
Karim Rashid was born in Cairo in 1960 by Anglo - Egyptian and raised mostly in Canada . He graduated in Industrial Design at Carleton University in Ottawa, and he obtained his specialization in Naples with Ettore Sottsass and others, before he moved to Milan to work with the study Rodolfo Bonetto . Karim now resides in New York where he runs a private design studio . He realized more than 2000 projects and now is one of the most influent people in architectural and interior design world. His works are in the permanent collections in fourteen museums worldwide , including New York and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art . Rashid was an associate professor of Industrial Design for 10 years and he is now an active participant at universities and conferences worldwide .
Marta Sansoni, architect and designer of Florence, graduated in Architecture in 1990. Her thesis "A building for worship” was selected in 1991 by the Department of Planning for the Salon International de l ' Architecture in Paris. In the same year, the project is also exposed to the Salon of Architecture in Milan and, in 1992, at the Milan Triennale. From 1990 to 1996 she co-ordinated at the Faculty of Architecture in the University of Florence seminars within the course of Furniture and Interior Architecture. She participated in a series of exhibitions and national and international competitions, including Memory Containers-Alessi (1990). In architecture, she has carried out projects of new residential building in Florence and in interior a number of shops, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, exhibition, projects of private homes and offices in Italy and abroad. As a designer, working with large companies, including Studio Italia Design with Millo and Maggio.
In 2006 Luca Nichetto founded a multidisciplinary design studio in Venice, Italy, which specialised in industrial design, product design and design consulting. From the very beginning, this studio collaborated with a number of different brands and organisations, quickly expanding its influence far beyond Venice and Italy’s borders. Five years later, in 2011, Nichetto opened a second studio in Stockholm, Sweden. This practice was founded in response to an ever growing number of requests for collaboration from international companies, with the studio’s work also broadening out from its initial focus on designed objects. Nichetto Studio has since expanded into areas such as interior design and architecture. Today, Nichetto Studio works with a variety of brands and clients from all around the world, and its expertise is sought out across all design disciplines.
